The Journal of Media and Social Studies for Specialized Researches is issued quarterly by the Scientific Institute for Advanced Training and Studies (SIATS), it is considered valuable achievement for SIATS institute to establish this journal in order to serve the issues of nations and human society’s. This study aimed at identifying the trends of suicide cases in Jordan during the years 2012-2016, planning them by calculating the rates of these cases according to their international standards, determining their destination, indicating the percentages of change in them and the mode of factors influencing them, holding the standard comparisons between them on the one hand and with those in some countries similar to Jordan in national and religious affiliation, defining the roles of institutions in the light of their results and the preparation of a planning framework for them. The results of the study showed that suicide rates are very low in both fatal and non-fatal forms for both sexes, and males and females in Jordan during the years 2012-2016 since they reached less than 1 per 100,000 population, fluctuating towards their direction and rising to the fatal suicide of both sexes in 2012.As for non-fatal suicide, the rates increased in 2012 and dropped in 2015. These rates were less than in some Arab and Islamic countries except Lebanon during 2013. They were affected by the sex of suicide committers and those who tried to commit suicide, their age and place of residence and the means used in their cases in favour of males. The rates were in favourof the following categories as well: those who are economically active, those who are psychologically sick, the residents in the capital, Amman and thosewho resort to execution in its fatal form
